Ceramic Printing for Artists & Studios
Especially in creative environments, where individuality, attention to detail, and rapid implementation are crucial, digital ceramic printing offers an enormous advantage. Designs can be adapted, personalized, or completely re-imagined without lead times. Whether photorealistic motifs, fine lines, or complex color gradients – the technology enables a quality that was previously only achievable with considerable effort.
At the same time, the result is not only visually convincing but also technically high-quality. Through the subsequent firing process, the ceramic pigments permanently bond with the surface. The decor becomes part of the glaze and is therefore resistant to abrasion, chemicals, and UV radiation – a crucial prerequisite for durable artworks and marketable products.

Support & Service: Why getting started with ceramic coatings is easier than many people think.
Designs can be specifically developed for certain target groups, produced in small series, and flexibly expanded. This opens up new possibilities in positioning: limited editions, personalized products, or individual customer orders can be efficiently implemented without high upfront costs or minimum quantities. At the same time, the quality remains at a level that also holds its own in the professional market environment.
For artists, this creates an exciting interplay between control and materiality. Every design is planned digitally, but only becomes fully integrated into the workpiece during the firing process. This combination of technology and craftsmanship opens up new creative possibilities and expands the classical understanding of ceramic design.

Ceramic digital printing with modified laser printers enables razor-sharp image reproduction with resolutions of 600 to 1,200 dpi – ideal for detailed motifs such as portraits, illustrations, or logos. The result: brilliant colors and impressive sharpness, even on complex surfaces.
Unlike screen printing, the digital process eliminates the need for complex motif changes . New designs can be added at any time – without any setup time. This saves time and money , especially for small batches, personalized one-off pieces, or flexible series production.
Digital printing is done on a special wet-slide transfer paper , which eliminates the need for the object to be decorated. The designs can be pre-produced, stored, or shipped worldwide and later transferred to the substrate—ideal for decentralized production or on-demand projects.
After printing and transfer, the decoration is fired at temperatures between 580 and 1250 °C . The inorganic pigments used fuse permanently with the glaze or surface, ensuring an extremely durable, UV- and chemical-resistant decoration .
